NEW DELHI: At least 20 people were injured and admitted to hospital following an explosion of a sewage tank at a factory in the Kudikadu area near Mudhunagar in Cuddalore district, Tamil Nadu, late Wednesday night.

The blast caused toxic water to leak out of the tank, flooding nearby houses and damaging properties in the village.Local authorities and emergency services rushed to the scene to assist the injured and control the situation.
