The New York Yankees suffered a major setback after their third baseman, Oswaldo Cabrera, was taken off the field in an ambulance. The Yankees star accidentally went on to injure his ankle during the recent game against the Seattle Mariners in the ninth inning. Despite the tension mounting on the faces of the spectators after Cabrera was lifted off from the field, the Yankees managed to dominate the Mariners with an overall score of 11-5.

The New York Yankees suffered a major blow after third baseman Oswaldo Cabrera hurt his left ankle. Looking at his condition, it was evident that he was not in a condition to walk; hence, he was taken off to the ambulance immediately in the middle of the Seattle Mariners. The 26-year-old Venezuelan athlete was writhing in pain, and he was rushed to a local hospital with the Yankees trainer Tim Lentych.
During the postgame interview, the New York Yankees manager Aaron Boone addressed the media about the current condition of their third baseman, Oswaldo Cabrera. He said,

From Yankees prominent athlete Aaron Judge to Trent Grisham, everyone was disheartened by the sight of their fellow teammate writhing in pain during the game against the Seattle Mariners. Reportedly, Cabrera was on his way home after the Yankees captain Aaron Judge had gone on to hit a sacrifice fly during the ninth inning at T-Mobile Park.
Unfortunately, as Oswaldo Cabrera came to the plate and started to slide, his left ankle was caught underneath him in an awkward way. He fell over and could not get up after that when the emergency medical services were brought to the field, and he was taken off to the local hospital in an ambulance.
