Inter Milan extended their lead over Napoli at top of Serie A to four points after they were made to work hard at home by Monza before winning 3-2 on Saturday.
Despite being heavily favoured against last-placed Monza with only 14 points this season, Inte found themselves trailing by two goals in the opening half.

The winning goal came in the 77th minute when Lautaro Martinez's header took a slight deflection off Monza's Greek defender Giorgos Kyriakopoulos before finding the net.
Despite their struggles, Inter's victory increased pressure on Napoli, who have managed just one point from their previous five matches ahead of their clash with seventh-ranked Fiorentina.
Meanwhile, AC Milan faced a challenging away match against struggling Lecce, mirroring a similar situation to their city rivals. American forward Christian Pulisic netted twice, helping his team secure a vital 3-2 victory and avoid a fourth consecutive Serie A loss.
Without their suspended French keeper Mike Maignan, Sergio Conceicao's team found themselves trailing 2-0, as Lecce's Montenegrin striker Nikola Krstovic scored twice.
The tide turned when Antonino Gallo's own goal in the 68th minute gave Milan hope, followed by Pulisic converting a penalty five minutes afterwards.
