Ankit Bhatia, currently Balwinder in Bhagya Lakshmi, expresses his desire for positive lead roles on television. He is managing his TV role alongside OTT projects.
Actor Ankit Bhatia, who has been playing the role of Balwinder in the TV show Bhagya Lakshmi for the past four years, wishes to play a positive lead role on TV. While this is his first TV show, he has also been part of a few OTT projects. Speaking about this, Ankit shares, “I would love to try more positive lead roles in the future on TV. It’s always exciting to explore different shades of a character and connect with the audience in new ways. In fact, in my upcoming web series, I’m playing the titular role, and it’s a positive character. I feel my audience will enjoy watching me as a good boy after seeing me as the bad guy on screen.”The actor, who has been doing TV for four years, is also managing shooting for OTT shows amid his tight schedule. He says, “It feels just like working with family. I shared my dates in advance with the production, and they were kind enough to adjust the schedule and give me time off for my web series.”Behind the scenes, Ankit finds steady support from his wife, Tshoden Yolmo. The couple recently welcomed their first child, a baby girl, in August last year. Ankit beams with joy as he talks about fatherhood and shares how he manages to find time. He says, "If you know your priorities, you can always make time. It’s all about balance — when something truly matters to you, you find a way, no matter how hectic life gets. When I’m shooting, I head straight home to be with my baby, and on my days off, I’m with her the whole day. That time together with my family means everything to me."
