Abhishek Bachchan, who is a proud father to 13-year-old Aaradhya, recently discussed parenting and compared generational attitudes. He highlighted how Aaradhya’s generation lacks a sense of hierarchy, unlike older generations.
Teh actor, in a chat with CNBC-TV18, shared an example of his daughter Aaradhya to highlight how different the younger generation is today.
He explained that unlike his generation, which followed parental instructions without question, the younger generation is more curious and seeks reasons behind decisions instead of simply complying with what their parents say.

The actor noted that the younger generation doesn’t assume elders always have the right answers, joking that they rely on Google instead of asking their parents. He added that today’s kids mostly seek love and emotional support from their parents rather than guidance for every question.
Abhishek further compared his generation to the younger one, noting that his generation relied on parents for wisdom and experience. He expressed that today’s generation has everything in their control and seeks justification for everything, which he found to be "wonderful."

Bachchan mentioned that he had an idea of what to expect from his daughter Aaradhya, thanks to his niece and nephew, Navya Naveli Nanda and Agastya Nanda. He clarified that they aren't rude; it’s just that people need to adjust their perspectives.
Reflecting on his parents, Big B and Jaya Bachchan, the Housefull 5 actor shared that he was given the freedom to make his own choices. He revealed that he learned from them by observing their behaviour rather than being directly told what to do.
Abhishek will next appear in Housefull 5, starring Akshay Kumar. Directed by Tarun Mansukhani and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala, the film is scheduled for release in cinemas on June 6, 2025.
