Hema Malini encourages Esha Deol to embrace love again after divorce from Bharat Takhtani: 'Romance should never die out'

My mother always reminded me that no matter what happens, a woman should have her own profession and keep working,” Esha said.

Hema Malini’s advice extended to financial independence as well. Esha recalled her mother’s insistence that a woman should always be self-reliant, regardless of her spouse’s financial status. “She told me that even if you are married to a millionaire, being financially independent makes a woman different. It gives you confidence and security,” Esha explained.
In addition to practical wisdom, Hema Malini also shared a softer, more emotional piece of advice – to never let romance fade from life. Esha revealed that her mother believes romance is an essential part of life and should not be overlooked. “She said that romance gives you those butterflies in your stomach – that feeling we all want. It’s something that should never die out. I’ve kept that advice in mind, but I haven’t acted on it yet,” Esha added with a smile.
