K-pop girl group I.O.I is going to be having their 10th debut anniversary in 2026 next year. In light of the auspicious occasion, recent reports have revealed that the group might just be getting back together to release a new single next year!

In recent reports as shared by Allkpop, popular K-pop group I.O.I may be reuniting in light of their 10th official debut anniversary. The group may be coming together as one to release a special single for fans next year for their anniversary.
According to the report, since all of the members are involved and under different management, it is taking time to work out an effective schedule for everyone, though talks are still going on.
The report also shared a statement which said that "There are many steps involved, since all of the members are represented by different companies. Recently, representatives from each company met up to discuss specifics such as the time frame and management for the first time. While it is difficult to adjust to everyone's schedules, it's clear that the members wish to make it happen."

The group consisting of members Kim Se Jung, Jeon So Mi, Kim Chung Ha, Choi Yoo Jung, Jung Chae Yeon, Kim Do Yeon, Lim Na Yeon, Yoo Yeon Jung, Kim So Hye, Kang Mi Na, and Zhou Jieqiong was formed through a survival variety show called ‘Produce 101’. The group was finalised and debuted in 2016 and disbanded only a year later after their contract ended.
Since then all members have been heavily involved in their own activities, with some venturing into acting and theatre, while others chose to stay in the field of music. Many ventured out and went on to do solo activities, while others chose to join new groups altogether and promote with new members.
