NEW DELHI: A full emergency was declared at Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International (IGI) Airport on Tuesday after fumes were detected inside the cabin of an Aeroflot flight travelling from Bangkok to Moscow, airport sources said.The incident took place around 3:50pm when the flight crew reported the presence of fumes and alerted air traffic control, requesting an emergency landing.The aircraft, carrying 425 passengers, landed safely without any incident. Emergency protocols were promptly activated at the airport to ensure a secure landing.A thorough safety inspection of the aircraft is currently underway. Further details are awaited.
