Q - Do you think you could skate in normal skates? Do you ever skate in normal skates?
A - That is a really dumb question. Ah, yes, like every goaltender has their whole life, you know, so, yeah, for sure.
Q - What do you do with all your old masks that don’t rep the team you currently play for, like do you have a graveyard?
A - I’m not nostalgic or sentimental, but that’s the one thing that I could keep. Good question. That’s a good question.
Q - Would you be upset if your helmet made you go bald?
A - Honestly, not something really I have ever had to think about (flexes his hair while answering).
Q - Are you singing and talking to yourself down there?
A - For sure, sometimes. It’s kind of about separating yourself from the situation, so whatever we gotta do. Honestly, sometimes I hear songs so I think that’s the best thing that can happen to you, coz you’re just thinking about something else.
Q - How do you feel about the whole “goalies are so weird” thing, be honest.
A - I think goalies are probably a little weird, but I think everybody is weird. And I just think that goalies maybe manifest it a little bit differently.
Q - Do you ever think about how the camera in the net is aimed at your butt for like 60 full minutes a night. Does it make you self-conscious?
A - Never thought about that once.
Q - What about the fact that there are PEOPLE right there behind you?
A - Naah. I mean, again, if you’ve been playing a goalie your whole life, it’s just the nature of the game.
Q - After a crazy save when you're just laying down sprawled out, does it feel good as hell or what?
A - It feels good, but I would say, I think for most goalies it's more about relief than pride. So, it's like, "Oh, thank God."
