In a video going viral on social media, the paparazzi outside the Mumbai airport confronted Virat Kohli for announcing his retirement from Test cricket.In the video, Virat Kohli and his actor wife Anushka Sharma were seen exiting the Mumbai airport, where media persons bombarded the star Indian batter with questions about his retirement.

"Sir, aapne galat kiya, retirement kyun liya? Ab hum cricket hi nahi dekhenge (Virat sir, you did wrong, why did you take retirement? We will not watch cricket anymore)," said one of the paparazzi.
"Aapke liye main Test match dekhta tha (I used to watch Test matches for you)," said another.An amused Virat requested them to make way as the paparazzi requested a photo with him. Kohli politely refused and said: "Abhi time kam hai, main deta hoon pakka (I am in a hurry, will definitely take one in the future)."

The rant continued as one of them again repeated: "Sir, ab hum cricket nahi dekhenge, hum aapke liye cricket dekhte they (Sir, we will not watch cricket again, we used to watch it because of you).""Wait karenge aapka, bas ab ODIs dekhenge (We'll wait for you to play in the ODIs). Is baar RCB jeetega (RCB will win IPL this time around)."Virat gave them a thumbs up before shutting the door of his car.

Kohli and Anushka Sharma on Tuesday visited spiritual leader Premanand Govind Sharan Ji Maharaj in Vrindavan, a day after announcing his retirement from Test cricket. A video of the couple seeking blessings from the saint was shared on micro-blogging platform 'X' by the disciples of the revered leader.Who's that IPL player?The couple spent over three hours at the Shri Radha Keli Kunj Ashram located near Varaha Ghat. Following his spiritual interaction, Kohli toured other initiatives run by the ashram and also visited the nearby ashram of Gaurangi Sharan Maharaj, the guru of Premanand Ji Maharaj, before returning.
This marked Kohli's third visit to the ashram – his previous ones were on January 10 this year and on January 4, 2023.Kohli announced his retirement from Test cricket on Monday, drawing the curtains on a stellar red-ball career. He represented India in 123 Tests, scoring 9,230 runs at an average of 46.85, including 30 centuries.
