Roston Chase appointed new West Indies Test captain ahead of Australia series

West Indies Cricket Board has appointed 33-year-old Roston Chase as the new Test captain of the men's team, replacing Kraigg Brathwaite who resigned in March. Chase, who last played a Test more than two years ago and has featured in 49 Tests, will lead the team in their upcoming series against Australia, which marks the beginning of the new World Test Championship cycle.Jomel Warrican has been named as the vice-captain of the Test side.
